According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Chicago Bears have traded running back Jordan Howard to the Philadelphia Eagles. In exchange, the Eagles have sent a sixth-round pick in 2020 which could become a fifth-round pick to the Bears. Howard, an Indiana product, spent the entirety of his three-year career with the Chicago Bears.

Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles Agree to Jordan Howard Trade
Howard spent the 2018 season splitting snaps with fellow running back Tarik Cohen. Appearing in all 16 games, Howard finished his season with 935 yards and nine touchdowns on 250 carries. Additionally, Howard added an additional 20 receptions for 145 yards. His best game came in Week 17 when he recorded 109 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.
Howard initially entered the league as a fifth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Selected by the Chicago Bears, Howard immediately earned a huge role in Chicago’s backfield. Appearing in 15 games while recording 13 starts, Howard recorded 1,313 yards and six touchdowns on 252 carries. On top of that, Howard added an additional 29 receptions for 298 yards and one touchdown. His impressive rookie season earned him the first and only Pro Bowl nomination of his career.
Howard appeared and started in all 16 games as a second-year player. Taking full control of the backfield, Howard finished the 2017 season with 1,122 yards and nine touchdowns on 276 carries. Additionally, Howard added 23 receptions on 32 targets for 125 yards.
Throughout his three-year career, Howard has recorded 3,370 yards and 24 touchdowns on 778 carries. He averages 4.3 yards-per-attempt to go along with 72 career receptions for 568 yards and one touchdown.
Prior to joining the NFL, Howard spent two seasons playing college football for the University of Alabama at Birmingham and one season with Indiana. During his time in the collegiate ranks, Howard recorded 647 rushing attempts for 3,691 yards and 24 touchdowns.
